The Canadian Shield is an amazing geographic area that screams: "take a picture of me"! So we encourage you to take pictures of your life on the shield and send them to us at: photos@canadianshieldcollective.ca so we can post them on our website and blog. Show your pride - send us your pics!

The majority of the photography on our site was taken by up and coming photographer, and ultimate Canadian Shield lover, Troy Havelock. From a young age, Troy spent his Spring, Summer, and Fall at Charleston Lake, located on the south east tip of the Canadian Shield. Growing up, Troy took many photos and videos at Charleston, documenting the various shenanigans he and his friends would get up to (mostly while being towed by a boat). Whether he is at the cottage or in the city, you can usually find him with a camera in hand, practicing his craft.
